Brethren linked Business Repays Millions to ATO

UBT in Voluntary Disclosure
In March 2024 the UBT office at the Sydney Olympic park was raided by the ATO under exceptional circumstances.

The Daily Telegraph in Australia is reporting that UBT have made a voluntary disclosure, and have paid several million dollars to the ATO in relation to the FBT & salary splitting matter. In general a Voluntary Disclosure would lead to a reduction in interest charges and penalties from the ATO. 

It is understood there are still a further two other matters ongoing following the ATO raid, according to a comment from a UBT spokeswoman.
